Where To Plant: French beans can be sown in site or indoors and then planted out; the latter is the best option for colder regions.

When To Plant: Choose a sunny spot and prepare the ground in the autumn prior to planting by adding manure if needed.

How To Plant: Sow seeds in cell trays or root trainers, harden off and plant out when risk of frost has passed.
